Privacy Policy for iOS Applications ​

Applies to: All iOS Applications published by the Data Controller listed below.

We take the protection of your data seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information our applications (each referred to as "the App") store or access, how it is used, and what rights users have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

2. What Data the App Handles ​

The App allows users to create, input, and save their own information and media to fulfill the App's core functionality. Depending on the features of the specific App, this may include:

  • Photos and Media: Taken with the device camera or selected from the Camera Roll / Photos app.
  • Text Inputs: Names, descriptions, notes, lists, or custom text fields.
  • Numerical Data: Values, prices, dates, or counter inputs.

All of this content is considered user-generated data.

3. Where Data Is Stored ​

All data created within the App is stored only locally on your device and/or in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud services.

  • We do not host, access, or view your data.
  • We do not operate our own external servers for user data.
  • We do not transmit user data to third parties.

Apple provides the iCloud infrastructure, and Apple’s Privacy Policy applies to that storage.

4. No User Accounts, Tracking, or Analytics ​

The App:

  • Does not require login, registration, or the creation of a user profile.
  • Does not use analytics, telemetry, or behavioral tracking tools.
  • Does not use third-party advertising networks.
  • Does not sell, rent, or monetize personal data.

5. App Permissions ​

Depending on the specific functionality of the individual App, it may request access to certain device features. If an App does not require a permission, it will not request it. These may include:

  • 5.1 Camera (If applicable): Used exclusively to take photos or scan items directly within the App.
  • 5.2 Photos / Camera Roll (If applicable): Used to select existing images or media from the device photo library.
  • 5.3 iCloud Access (If applicable): Used to securely store and sync user data across your own devices.

Note: We do not have access to any permissions, media, or data stored in your iCloud or on your device.

6. Legal Basis & U.S. Compliance ​

Data handling is based on user consent and the strict need to provide the requested App functionality.

For U.S. users, including California (CCPA/CPRA):

  • We do not sell or share personal information.
  • We do not use personal data for targeted advertising.
  • We do not profile or analyze user behavior.

7. Children’s Privacy (COPPA) ​

Our Apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because we do not collect, view, or host any data on external servers, no personal data is transmitted to us or third parties. If an App is intended or suitable for children, all generated content remains strictly local to the device or the user's personal iCloud account.

8. User Rights & Data Control ​

Because all data is stored exclusively on the user’s own device or iCloud account, users have full control over their data and are responsible for:

  • Viewing, exporting, or moving their stored entries.
  • Editing or permanently deleting data within the App.
  • Managing device and iCloud backups.

We cannot access, view, retrieve, or delete data on behalf of users.

EU Users (GDPR): Users may exercise their rights (access, correction, deletion) directly via their device settings or Apple’s iCloud tools. Complaints may be submitted to your local data protection authority.

9. Security ​

Storage and transfer to iCloud are encrypted and secured by Apple. While Apple's infrastructure meets industry-standard security protocols, no system can guarantee complete, absolute protection.

10. Changes to This Policy ​

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect legal, regulatory, or technical changes. The current version will always be available via the App Store listing or within the App.
